What this site collects, and why. Short version: very little, and nothing is sold.
What gets counted
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records page visits, rough location (country and city), device type and which site sent you here. If you decline, Analytics does not run. You can change your choice any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
CV downloads
When someone downloads a CV, the site notes the time, which CV, the approximate location and network from the IP address, the page they came from and the browser. To estimate the approximate location, the visitor's IP address is sent to a location lookup service (ip-api.com). It is not stored on this website. The details are emailed to me so I know my CV was opened.
Messages
If you use the contact form or leave your email for a follow-up, your message and email go straight to my inbox. I use them only to reply.
What I don't do
I don't sell or share this information, I don't run ads, and I don't try to find out who you are beyond what you choose to tell me.
